It takes a great deal of effort and time to properly handle an instrument and play pieces with it. To create a symphony with multiple instruments would take even more effort.

A reporter has attended the year-end concert of a developmental disabled youth orchestra that has made miracles through over 1000 practice sessions.

Late night orchestra practice is in full swing.

[Conductor Kim Geon-Do/Heart to Heart Orchestra: No, no. Let's try again from the F third measure. Get ready now. Shh, start.]

The members move in perfect order at each hand gesture of the conductor.

The age difference is various, from a young student wearing uniforms at the timpani to a young man with the flute.

Everything seems ordinary, but the Heart to Heart Orchestra is consisted of youths with developmental disabilities.

This is their last practice before their performance at the Concert Hall of the Seoul Arts Center.

Da-bin Kim, who has autistic disorder, is an award-winning music student attending college, but even he cannot hide his excitement.

[Da-bin Kim / Senior at Dept. of Music, Sahmyook University: I feel proud when the audience cheers to us. It gives me a feeling of liveliness and warmth.]

The final rehearsal will continue until the performance starts.

Each part has been practiced numerous times, but it is hard not to be nervous.

[TEACHER: Let's try G and C again in this state.]

Dae-jin Kim, a music director for Suwon Symphony Orchestra, also came as a guest conductor.

[Dae-jin Kim, Conductor / Suwon City Symphony Orchestra: There was a bit of a difficulty in communicating with words, but it was not difficult to communicate through music.]

The 2,000 seats fill in without space, and the performance begins.

The magnificent sound of music breaks through the silence and resonates in the theater.

The members are deeply emersed in the music throughout the two hour performance.

Applaud bursts out at the perfect closing.

[Dong-kyun Kim / Senior at Korea National University of Arts: I am so excited. It was so thrilling. I'm so happy I could fly.]

Everyone thought these performances would be impossible at the time of establishment in 2006, but over 400 performances have already been held so far.
