Heart to Heart Foundation became a member of IAPB (International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness) on 19th March 2010. IAPB was established in 1975 as a coordinating, umbrella organisation to lead international efforts in blindness prevention activities, and 108 organisations have become involved in VISION 2020 as members of the IAPB. This joining allowed Heart to Heart Foundation to work for Vision 2020 actively and officially. Vision 2020 is a joint programme of the WHO (World Health Organization) and the IAPB with an international membership of NGOs, professional associations, eye care institutions and corporations. Heart to Heart Foundation will make its best efforts to eliminate avoidable blindness by providing sustainable eye care services that reach to all in need. |
