The 1st completion ceremony of international ophthalmologist training was held in Heart-Heart Foundation Conference Room on April 30. Dr. Mamunur, an ophthalmologist from Bangladeshi successfully completed an 8 week training program which has been at Konyang Univ. College of Medicine, Kim’s Eye Hospital since March 8.

Insuk Shin, Chairman of the Board of Heart-Heart Foundation, said ‘I hope the professional knowledge and skills learned in Korea contribute to preventing avoidable blindness and restoring people’s sight and improving quality of their lives in Bangladeshi.’
Dr. Mamunur expressed his appreciation to the officials of Heart-Heart Foundation by saying ‘it was a great opportunity to learn about the advanced skills of cataract surgery and observe various fields of ophthalmology which I have been interested in. I will try not to make the experience in Korea in vain.’

Heart-Heart Foundation invites ophthalmic staffs from developing countries and provides educational and training programs to promote vision restoring in developing countries in cooperation with major Eye Hospitals in Korea.
