Heart to Heart Orchestra has performed successfully at 20th Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (ACID) in front of the participants from 15 countries in Asia.

The 20th Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities (ACID) is a worldwide contest held every other year, with 24 member nations including Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hongkong, and Nepal.

More than 1,900 participants listened to presentations on discrimination, integrating the disabled into society and allowing them to pursue happy lives pursuing complete social participation and equally guaranteed rights.
And the disabled participants talked about compelling and practical issues of their own.

Especially the contest was held on Jeju island, South Korea and Heart to Heart Orchestra performance was proceeded by an actor Seong Kyung Jung, as the master of ceremonies.
They played 5 song in total including Light Cavalry Overture, an operetta in three acts by Franz von Suppe. Particularly it was really impressive to see the audience listening to every single piece of music while a solo member, Han-gyul Lee played Aranjuez Mon Amour.
The performance responded to the audience's acclamations with the encore performance and thunderous applause broke out as each song was over. Every member of the audience were deeply moved by the amazing performance reaching beyond their disabilities.
A doctor named Pruboyo Solek from Indonesia said "I was stunned by the fact that such orchestra like 'Heart to Heart' composed of the disabled youth does exist in this world, fully appreciating their performance. I really would like to visit and meet the musicians in person."
