Heart to Heart Foundation has supported 250 portable reading magnifiers and 60 desktop reading magnifiers for children with low vision since 2010.

It was meaningful to have 50 new children with low vision gathered together and to share their future dreams and hopes. They were each given a new portable optical reading magnifier to help their daily life and to boost their educational opportunities.
Sharon Park, the goodwill ambassador of Heart to Heart Foundation led the ceremony with opening remarks. After the welcoming speech of the Heart to Heart Foundation chairman In-Sook Shin, low vision specialist Dr. Eung Soo Kim, gave words of encouragement to the children. He held a brief Q&A session to address the parents’ concerns.

Students who had received a reading magnifier from Heart to Heart Foundation, also gave words of encouragement to the children.
People encourage the children with a big applause and it was an inspiring time for all.

Heart to Heart Foundation will continue to support the children with low vision and to help their wings of hope fly high for the future.
