This stage greeted the audience with a new year’s opening performance. The audience was deeply moved by the Heart to Heart Orchestra, witnessing the members of the Orchestra who have overcome hardships to stand on the stage.
The Heart to Heart Orchestra played for about an hour. They played 5 songs, including the opening piece of ‘the Russlan and Ludmilla Overture’, the encore performance and others, preceded by the comments on the musical pieces and the introduction to the Heart-Heart Orchestra by cellist Song Yeong-Hun.

Especially Bizet’s Minuet, where flutist Lee Yeong-Su, who will enter the Korea National University of Arts, played the solo, moved the audience so deeply that tears were seen in their eyes.
Also, the Orchestra performed the Nella Fantasia in collaboration with violinist Kim Ju-Hyeon who is the Orchestra’s advisory member. Everybody became one through music regardless of their disabilities. Also, the consideration that the members showed for one another during their performance was something that set an example for all of us to learn from. Song Yeong-Hun the narrator expressed his astonishment by stating that the Heart-Heart Orchestra was a true miracle.
We deeply thank everyone who came to see the Heart to Heart Orchestra’s performance despite the cold weather. In the new year of 2013, we will try even harder to help the orchestra continue to grow and to communicate even more closely with the world.
