Celebrating the ‘World Sight Day’, 

Heart to Heart Foundation branch office in Bangladesh participated in a commemorative event called 

`Stronger Together` conducted by the National Ophthalmic Hospital of Madaripur, Bangladesh. 

 

 

 

 

 

This event, in which hundreds of people, including important local subjects like Mohammad Nasim - the minister of Bangladesh Health and Family Welfare Ministry, eye-health-related organizations, and the local residents, participated was arranged to raise awareness of eye health, as well as to share the achievements of the eye health promotion, which the Bangladesh government and INGOs have been proceeding in. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mohammad Nasim, the minister of Bangladesh Health and Family Welfare Ministry and the director of the National Ophthalmic Hospital mentioned the goals and future plans of the eye health services that are currently running and also delivered a word of gratitude toward KOICA(Korean International Cooperation Agency) and Heart to Heart Foundation for contributing to the promotion of eye health in Bangladesh.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this year’s event for World Sight Day, the government of Bangladesh and INGOs came together to organize the campaign for eye health promotion, promising the possibility of a brighter future when we all work together. 

 

 


This event of celebrating the World Sight Day, as a part of the project to promote eye health and to build capacity for eye health personnel in Gazipur, Bangladesh, is a cooperative project between Heart to Heart Foundation and KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency).
