Heart to Heart International Tanzania held an annual stakeholder's meeting on 6th of April for Eye Health Service System Strengthening Program in Mtwara!
 
Evaluation on achievement during previous 2 years program period has been carried. Eye health experts who came from Ministry of Health and surgeon of Ligula Hospital have discussed the implementation strategy for 3rd year(the last year) of program period.
 
The stakeholders appreciated that program has contributed to improvement of eye-health service. It enabled Mtwara region to hold a cataract surgery through the eye clinic  establishment in Ligular Regional Hospital and hold a minor surgery in 5 district hospitals. Moreover, they appraised the program has helped the local people who were marginalized from eye health service.
 
They had a discussion session to have a detailed implementation plan for this year, taking a deliberation on assessment result of Ministry of Health to raise the effectiveness of program.
