On May 26th, international kiwi brand, Zespri announced that it made a donation to Heart to Heart Foundation in the amount of 20 million won for medical supports for premature infants of low-income families. The partnership event took place at its Daechi-dong office.

The donation is in its third-year campaign and will be used for helping premature infants for the cost of their surgeries and treatments.

Having begun in 2010, Zespri has helped a total of 18 low-income families to treat their premature infants for their healthy growing. Last year, Zespri’s donation reached a baby who needed a heart surgery for his patent ductus arteriosus and other babies suffering from respiratory distress syndrome and helped their families in economic difficulty.

“We have committed to provide donations on an ongoing-basis for those families with low income with their medical bills for surgeries and other treatments. We will also launch “Zespri Kiwi School” for children whose health depends on their eating habits now and help the kids enjoy healthy growing and various other activities,” said Kim Jiyoung, marketing manager at Zespri International Korea.
