Heart to Heart Foundation reached out to the City of Navotas in Philippines with typhoon relief.


Philippines was affected by series of tropical storms, Saola, Haiku, and Kai-Tak in August leaving millions people homeless. 40 districts in the capital city Manila and northern are were declared as disaster areas with more than 3.5 million people in danger of flood and epidemics.


Heart to Heart Foundation visited the City of Navotas and children of San Roques School with relief goods. Food, water, and new school supplies were given to the typhoon victims, provided by the donations from Daum Communication’s employees. Daum Communication’s employees have voluntarily collected 5 million Won through company-wide employee fundraising campaign to help typhoon victims in the Philippines. They have also set up an on-line account to encourage Daum online users to participate in donation for the Philippines typhoon victims.
