UNESCAP High-level Intergovernmental Meeting is an international meeting form UN ESCAP(United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) to "Make the Right Real for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific" and to promote the rights of persons with disabilities.

Heart String Ensemble performed for 250 governmental delegations of ESCAP member countries, NGOs in Asia-Pacific area, and delegations of United Nations with repertoires of Vivaldi's Four Seasons 'Winter' and Leroy Anderson's 'Fiddle-Feddle.'

 

Hightlight of the performance was Dong-gyun Kim's flute solo of Gabriel's Oboe with Heart String Ensemble. Heart to Heart Orchestra's flutist Dong-gyun Kim is the very first person with developmental disabilities to be accepted into Korea National University of Arts.

 

Heart to Heart Orchestra will keep spreading a positive awareness for the disabled and send a hopeful message to our audiences.
